The Kalenjin Myoot elders have adviced the Baringo County senator Gideon Moi to step down from the 2022 presidential election and wait until 2032.

The elders told him that 2022 is William Ruto’s time and he has already been given the blessings to go for the throne.

The elders believe that Gideon would have learnt more as from now to 2032 and will be fit enough to hunt the top seat.

“Ruto is number two in the pecking order and closer to power. Kenyans have also shown faith in him. He was trusted by Kenyans and that is why he campaigned alongside Uhuru Kenyatta and garnered more votes. Leaders should demonstrate political maturity.
Despite coming from different parties, they should put aside their differences and focus on the agenda of development and tell the president the problems we the people of the North Rift are facing,” said council chairman Benjamin Kitur.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has openly stated that his Deputy William Ruto is not a man to be trusted anymore.

Uhuru has since described the second in command as dishonest and warned leaders against him.

Uhuru bashed the DP and his hustler narrative while drumming up for BBI in the Mount Kenya region.

“It has been claimed that BBI is meant to help Raila. What help does Raila? Someone who is almost 76 years old. You claim that this document is for Raila, which ward does he represent in Ruiru?
If more money is allocated to Ruiru, will it benefit Raila or the people of Ruiru? What nonsense,” Uhuru said in reference to Ruto.

Raila defended himself by maintaining that there is no cabinet secretary in the government picked from ODM hence there is no way he could be the one bringing down the Jubilee administration.

Raila further claimed that Ruto is the man behind the failures saying that he has done nothing and became a bad principal adviser.

“ODM does not have a single cabinet secretary slot or a top position in Jubilee government where policies are formulated. It is the DP who is expected to advise the head of state. What kind of an advisor is he? Raila possed
