Siaya senator James Orengo and National Assembly minority leader OpiyoWandayi have told off Azimio laUmoja Pne Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga 'haters' to either respect him or walk out of ODM Party.Speaking in Usonga Constituency in a funeral ceremony, the two challenged those who are opposed to Raila to bolt out of the ODM party and form their own party which they said they were sure could not last.
They further said that with Raila leadership within the vast Siaya, Nyanza region, there was no vacuum in the region for political leadership.
Opiyo Wandayi blasted the said opposers of Raila of seeking Kenya Kwanza government favors and therefore should do so with respect and avoid dragging Raila's name into their selfish and personal interests.
Terming them petty attacks, Opiyo said that those attacks should come to an end as they were planning to have Raila still contest for presidency come 2027 for the sixth time.
Orengo made it clear that Raila was still the undisputed political kingpin of not only the Nyanza region but the entire country and therefore he must be given the respect he deserves.
He further said that Raila not only needed respect from political leaders but also from the National government that is led by President William Ruto.
