President Ruto Awards Kenyans Living and Working in Diaspora

images (4).jpegPresident William Ruto has awarded Kenyan Professionals in the United Kingdom with the honour of Elder of the Burning Spear (EBS) for services to Kenya and the world.

Those who were lucky enough to be awarded included Prof Washington Ochieng, Prof Phoebe Okowa and Dr Moses Langat.
In a thankful message, the awardee thanked Ruto for recognising their work.

"We thank President William Ruto for conferring on some distinguished Kenyan professionals in the UK the national honour of Elder of the Burning Spear EBS for services to Kenya and the world," they tweeted.

"Take a bow Prof Washington Ochieng, Prof Phoebe Okowa and Dr Moses Langat."

Others to be awarded included Kenya's High Commissioner Manoah Esipisu with an Elder of the Burning Spear for service in diplomacy and public affairs, Mission staff Martin Owuor and Nancy Diana with Order of the Grand Warrior (OGWs) for their role in the campaign to remove Kenya from the High-Risk Area.

"We are also humbled and grateful to President for similarly honouring HC MEsipisu with an EBS for service in diplomacy and public affairs," Kenya High Commission in London tweeted.

"And our Mission staff Martin Owuor and Nancy Diana with OGWs for their role in the campaign to remove Kenya from the High-Risk Area."
