I don't like being ignorant about people's traditions and cultures but even in the next life I would still say no to this. Most Africans don't know some of this traditions were imposed on us to make us look ugly. They should be abolished coz most of them are only practised on women to dehumanised them. Those are my thoughts though, I am open to learning.
