Is there really a deep state or we are just shitty voters?
After DP ruto outsmarted his boss (with all the state machinery) twice, I'm beginning to question the notion of a deep that decides who wins an election and who goes to complain in court.
Maybe it's just a hangover from the Moi era whereby the state controlled everything. Kenya has since developed but we are still stuck with the moi mentality.
I think it's time we took responsibility for our choices of leaders. We can't keep complaining of shitty leaders then secretly vote them in and later claim rigging. It's time citizens also took responsibility for the mess we are in.
