President Uhuru Kenyatta has come out to unexpectedly launch an unexpected political attack against deputy president William Ruto accusing him of riding on the Government's development projects to market itself, while at the same time criticising the government.

Uhuru told Ruto to resign from the government and allow those who want to move forward to do so. He argued that this is what happens in an advanced democracy as it is unethical to ride on other peoples' efforts.

But now, Ruto's camp has finally come out to break Silence over president Uhuru Kenyatta's unexpected attack on his deputy. Through Kikuyu constituency member of parliament Kimani Ichung'wah, Ruto's camp is hearing none of that.
Ichung'wah says they will not allow the deputy president to quit the Government, reminding Kenyatta that both Ruto and him were elected by Kenyans. He told Ruto to focus on the bottom up economic model.
