Yesterday, DP Gachagua told Sakaja to be careful on how he is running the city especially in dealing with business persons operating within Nairobi.

In his sentiments, Gachagua reminded Sakaja that he was the reason behind his election making it clear that he was the one who rallied Kikuyu voters behind him.

Gachagua is claiming that he is fighting and not protecting business people with his new directives towards the bar, taxi, and motorcycle operators within the city.

Sakaja had earlier instructed that these operators be removed from within the city for mismanagement and their failure to follow traffic rules within CBD and allegedly being involved in crimes.

However, Narok Senator Ledama Olekina is not in agreement with Gachagua's sentiments and he has come out defending Sakaja's move.

Advising him, Ledama told Sakaja not to allow anyone to intimidate him and to stand on his grounds on any rule or directive he order while running the city.

“You can't build a great building on a weak foundation. You must have a solid foundation if you're going to have a strong superstructure.” _GBH. My brother @SakajaJohnson will these people like @rigathi allow you to make Nairobi work again ? I feel for you! Ero Kaa Ngumu!" Ledama advised.
