Barack Obama’s grandmother, Mama Sarah, dies
Sarah Obama, the grandmother of former United States President Barrack Obama has died.
Her son, Said Marsat, said the family’s matriarch died at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital in Kisumu County early Monday, March 29.
The family said that Mama Sarah had been receiving treatment at the Kisumu hospital for a month and a half.
Burial plans are currently underway in line with Islamic tradition for the ceremony that will held at her K’Ogelo village in Siaya County.
