Three bodies of the missing four friends from Kitengela were found on Thursday, April 29, after a 10-day search.

Elly Obuong, Benjamin Imbai and Jack Ochieng's bodies were positively identified after their bodies were found stuffed in gunny bags and tied with ropes before being dumped within a 30-km radius.

Preliminary investigations showed the trio were strangled to death as they had no gunshot wounds.

Their bodies were registered at mortuaries as 'unidentified male adults'. The buddies were abducted shortly after leaving a restaurant in Kitengela, Kajiado county.

Jubilee Party vice chairman, David Murathe, has denied he is a COVID-19 millionaire and instead pointed fingers at Deputy President William Ruto's associates.

Murathe was interrogated by the Public Investments Committee on Thursday, April 29, and had a tough time explaining his links to Kilig, a company that was allegedly awarded a KSh 4 billion direct procurement tender to supply PPEs to KEMSA.
The former Gatanga MP acted as a guarantor to Kilig but defended himself by claiming the DP's associates were signatories to a Kilig account at the Kenya Commercial Bank.

"I have given you documents. The committee has powers to investigate and establish that the owners of this account are associated with the DP," he said

A Kenyan cleric has warmed hearts after breaking fast with Muslims.

Bishop Willybard Lagho of the Catholic Diocese of Malindi hosted Muslim leaders for an Iftar meal at his home on Thursday, April 29.

The bishop said he invited the leaders because his residence was just an extension of their family home.

They also discussed critical social concerns that the bishop ought to focus on in his new pastoral and social ministry as the head of the Catholic Diocese of Malindi.

Schools may not reopen on May 10 as expected due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country.

The reopening could be postponed due to advisories which show the infection rates are high and may affect learning in schools.

According to the publication, reopening may be pushed by two weeks so as to put in place measures to contain the killer virus.
