Loiyangalani wind power project, which is the largest wind power project in Africa is injecting 310 megawatts of energy to our national grid, (enough to serve a million households). The project which was commissioned last year is saving the country over Ksh. 8B annually from reduced usage of diesel-generated thermal power.
