During his peak time, Maradona was a celebrated football legend who propelled his Argentina Team in 1986 to win World Cup against West Germany in a 3-2 win.

While celebrating his win, Maradona was lifted up holding the World Cup with one hand while the other one was raised up.

The same iconic image was Recreated by Lionel Messi and Di Maria after their 4-2 penalty shoot-out win against France in a dramatic hotly contested tournament.

Maradona, whose career was full of scandals made milestone in his football career.

He his celebrated for earning 91 caps and scored 34 goals during his World International tournaments.
