According to Lederach (1999) reconciliation is a journey of moving towards God and towards each other. Reconciliation is also an encounter and involves “places’ to meet.

It is one thing to forgive, of which, many people are able to do this, but many times, very few people are able towards reconciliation, and this can be due to the complexities involved.

Some of the processes involved in reconciliation are: -

Repentance - “Confession brings freedom,” writs Sande (2004).

Restoration – This involves more than just confronting; it more loving and redeeming.
