Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp has now introduced a new feature called “Message Yourself” that lets you send notes and create reminders without any workarounds.

The platform on Monday announced the feature, which essentially acts as a user's notepad to bookmark important information next to other WhatsApp chats.

Under the feature which has started rolling out globally, Android and iOS users will be able to send stuff like notes, share messages, pictures, videos and audios with themselves as reminders and links they wish to open later to themselves on WhatsApp.

Like regular chats, one will also be able to pin their chats to the top of the conversation list for quicker access.
