Retired Chief Justice Evan Gicheru has died at 79 years old.
His demise was declared Saturday morning by Chief Justice David Maraga.
CJ Maraga praised him as an undaunted local official and humble individual.
"He carried honor to the workplace of the Chief Justice by guaranteeing that it turned into the unquestionable caretaker of uprightness inside the legal executive," he said in an assertion.
