The first lady Mama Rachel Ruto is on the moon after Argentina won the 2022 Qatar World Cup.This is after Argentina won 7-5 against France on penalties after drawing 3-3 goals during the finals.
Before the finals kicked off Rachel and President Ruto had placed a vet on Which team could win the tournament.
President Ruto went against his wife and children after placing is winning bet on France while Rachel and her kids placed their winning bet to Argentina.
At the halftime of the game, Rachel reminded Ruto that they had placed a bet and asked him to e ready to pay after the half-time whistle went off while Argentina was leading by two goals.
However, her joy could not last long after Kylian Mbappe of France scored two goals to equalize.
At the end of the game, after playing 30 minutes extra hours, the two teams went into the penalty shoot-out with France failing to sail through to be crowned as the winners.
Demanding her bet reward, Rachel congratulated Argentina while she demanded Ruto to pay her off.
"I want to join the rest of the world in congratulating the Argentina National Football Team, Captained by Lionel Messi, for winning the 2022 World Cup tournament. Wear your three stars with pride! Bill, pay your bill! " Rachel demanded.
