Monday marks the 127th running of the Boston Marathon, the world’s oldest annual marathon and one of the biggest races on the sport’s calendar. In an upset, Evans Chebet of Kenya won the men’s race for the second consecutive year after world record holder Eliud Kipchoge faded late in the race. Elite women’s runners are still on the course. Marcel Hug of Switzerland won the men’s wheelchair race in a course record, and American Susannah Scaroni was the women’s wheelchair winner.
