Speaking to journalists at Sagana State Lodge, Dena appeared to have added some weight sparking a debate on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Emmy reminded the media personality that she is beautiful no matter her size, adding that no woman should be subjected to cyber bullying for adding some weight.

“You are beautiful no matter your size, shape size, color height, level of ability, level of education marital status etc. You have done well, all the sacrifices you give continually passing batton from generation to generation of selflessness and hardwork
“I categorically condemn any kind of body shaming, cyberbullying on any woman out there! It is a shame! No woman should go through this just because they lostweight or added weight or change for whatsoever reason. It is uncouth and so mean to tell a woman you are fat,” she wrote.

A section of media personalities also came to the rescue of Kanze, telling off whose who trolled the State House spokesperson.

Joyce Gituro who worked with Kaze at the Royal Media Services advised her to ignore the hate spewed on her.

“@kanzedena254 , you are a child of God, wonderful creation of the almighty, ignore the naysayers!” Wrote Joyce.
Former Inooro TV Muthoni wa Mukiiri also weighed on the matter terming body shaming shallow and illiterate.

“Stop body shaming. It is shallow and illiterate… Aki surely,” she said.
On her side, Singer Wahu observed that it is such an unfortunate instance to see women tearing each other down.

“Such a shame to see people (more so women) body shaming a woman especially after she’s just given birth. We can do better guys… Let’s be better,” said Wahu in her post.
DJ Soxxy: Why would someone body shame @KanzeDena for adding weight after giving birth?? We were all born of mothers whose life changed after they gave birth to us

Silas Chepkeres: Men who trolled Kanze Dena today are just that – pathetic. First, because it’s a big low to body-shame, two; most of you aren’t healthy. Whereas Kanze is just coming back to work from maternity, you feed on junk arnd town everyday & either too round or potbellied all year-round

Syombua Osiany: Kanze Dena has just reported back to work after a maternity leave. Any human being who has gone to school will understand what happens and the possibility of gaining baby weight. She had the same weight after the birth of her son but bounced back. It’s breastfeeding time guys!!

Fridah Gacheri: No sooner than 9 months of pregnancy are over, bouncing baby delivered; instead of customary ululations moms now are met with body shaming.
Sad that our men are on the forefront of this narrative
