Kenyan Athlete Etyang Kamar woes seems not to come to an end. Months after getting disqualified from Tokyo 2020 Olympics team for not meeting anti-doping requirement, he has faced another disqualification in Under-20 World Athletics Championship on-going at Kasarani Stadium.
During the 1,500 Meters, Etyang came third and was expected to win a Bronze but unfortunately he was denied Victory after lane infringement.
His victory was passed to Ethiopia's Melkenah Azize, who finished fourth upgraded to the medal bracket in 3:40.22.
Etyang had earlier said that he does not bear any hard feelings or pain after missing the Tokyo Olympic Games, but instead he could put his full focus in winning the 1500M at Kasarani during World Athletics Under-20 Championship.
Vincet Keter went for the title after clocking three minutes, 37.24 seconds at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani with Ethiopia's Wegene Addisu to second place in 3:37.86.
Keter's victory saw Kenya's medal tally at the top surge to eight; five gold, one silver and two bronze.
