Cytonn’s unit trust suffers Sh188m exits on brand hit
Investors withdrew Sh188.3 million from Cytonn Unit Trust Scheme which suffered the biggest outflow in the quarter ended June, according to data from the Capital Markets Authority (CMA). The client exits came as the trust’s parent firm Cytonn Investments Management battled CMA and investors in its other funds who have been unable to access billions of shillings. Cytonn Unit Trust Scheme ended the period under review with Sh771.9 million in assets, down from Sh960.2 million in the preceding quarter - representing a 19.6%
