Club Rixxos Issues Statement Over Viral Altercation Video, Accuses Employees of Stealing From Them

images (32).jpegClub Rixxos ,Kitengela has this evening issued a statement to explain an altercation that occurred at the club on Wednesday evening.

In a statement, the management acknowledged the confrontation stating some employees who had been fired for stealing from the club had come to demand for their monthly salary.

Expounding further, the management said that they had issues with them whom they claimed had started stealing from them.

After investigation, the IT personel revealed to the management that some employees were using past Mpesa payments Codes to settle current bills hence throwing the club into uncountable losses.

They reported the said employees to Directorate of Criminal Investigation in Kitengela but later learnt they had been released on bond.

“ Recently as the Rixxos management, we had an issue with a few of our waitresses and our barman which we reported to the local DCI office on the 24th November 2022 upon which they offered help and arrested the workers on December 1 on suspicion of stealing and defrauding the company.

After being released. they are said to have gone to the premises threatening the management provoking the confrontation.

A video that forced police to raid the club following the orders by Inspector General of National Police Service Japheth Koome, showed a man believed to be the owner of the vlub verbally abusing the lady who had gone to confront him.

The man threatened the woman that nothing would be done to make him change his mind even if she reported the matter since he had a cordial relationship with the president.
