The 45-year-old describes himself as a self-made individual who rose from a milk hawker in the coastal city of Mombasa to a billionaire.
He also recounted having a mkokoteni (cart) which he used to transport milk.
Buzeki was born in Keiyo South in Elgeyo Marakwet county.
He attended Molo Academy in Nakuru before joining Mang’u National School.
He attained a higher international diploma in sales and marketing from Cambridge University in 2005.
After hawking milk in Mombasa, Buzeki was appointed regional dairy sales manager for Kilifi plantations.
He served in the position from 1998 and 2000.
He helped the company back to profitability with over 80% of the market share in the coast.
Buzeki Enterprises
In 2004, the businessman ventured into the transport business by establishing Buzeki Enterprises Limited.
He bagged contracts with renowned companies such as Bamburi Cement and United Nations World Food Programme.
Buzeki Dairy Ltd
In 2008, he launched Buzeki Dairy Limited with the first 25,000-liter milk plant in Kilifi.
In 2010, he expanded the business by purchasing a milk plant in Mau Summit. He renamed it Molo Milk.
The brand became popular until it was acquired by Kenyatta family-owned Brookside in 2013 in a KSh 1.1 billion deal.
"I wanted the locals to have the benefit of the county owning the company. Uasin Gishu people lost a chance to have an investment that would have helped the farmers. Another interested party came and bought it. It's business. Nothing is wrong with that," he said.
Buzeki Dairy used to manufacture Molo milk and Kilifi gold.
Ainabkoi Farm
The tycoon has over 100 pedigree cows at his farm in Ainabkoi.
Chopper
The business mogul owns a chopper.
In August 2021, he gave a schoolgirl the chance to board it.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, August 26 post, he said he believes determination is the key to success.
“Education is an equaliser. I met this young girl and I strongly believe that with determination and commitment the future of our youth is bright,” he wrote.
According to Business Daily, Buzeki Enterprises owes NCBA PLC KSh 2.7 billion.
The loan was reportedly used to purchase 289 trucks and 141 trailers but Buzeki defaulted.
In February, he reached a deal with the lender.
Landmark Port Conveyors had been appointed to sell 53 of his lorries to recover the amount.
